At All Dogs in the City, we offer a premium dog boarding experience in New York City, ensuring comfort, safety, and a welcoming environment. Unlike traditional kennels, we provide an open sleep space or cozy open-air crates, allowing each dog to choose their preferred spot to rest. For those who enjoy extra companionship, some even sleep next to our caregivers, creating an even more comforting and familiar experience.
Our staff is on-site 24/7, providing continuous supervision and personalized care to meet your pet’s needs. Additionally, we follow a structured routine of feeding, playtime, and socialization, ensuring a balanced environment where your dog feels at home while staying with us.
Getting Ready for Your Pup’s Stay
At All Dogs in the City, we are committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for every dog. To ensure a positive experience from day one, we require all new dogs to complete an adaptation period before becoming members of our daycare.
How Does the Adaptation Process Work?
Initial visit with pet parents – A first meeting to get familiar with our space and team.
At least 3 days of daycare – A crucial period for your dog to adjust to our environment and routine.
During this phase, your pup will have the opportunity to interact with other dogs under supervision, get to know our caregivers, and gradually adapt to the daycare setting.

Feedings & Medication
All Dogs in the City can feed your dog breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as administer medication if needed. If you require us to provide meals and/or medication, please send the food in a Ziplock bag, clearly labeled with your dog’s name and detailed feeding and medication instructions.
What to Bring for Your Dog’s Stay?
Food – Bring your dog’s food pre-portioned in individual Ziplock bags and include feeding instructions. We recommend sending 10%-20% extra food to ensure your pup has enough, especially if they are more active during their stay.
Medication (if needed) – Provide dosage and schedule details at the time of booking.
Collar and leash – For safety during check-in and walks.
Bed and blanket – We recommend bringing your dog’s bed and blanket to help them feel more comfortable and at ease during their stay.
What Will Your Dog’s Stay Be Like?
During their stay, your dog will enjoy a day full of playtime, socialization, and relaxation in a safe and supervised environment. They will interact with other dogs, participate in enriching activities, and rest comfortably.
Updates for Pet Parents: We will send photos and updates throughout their stay so you can see how much fun your pup is having!
Updates & Communication During Overnight Boarding
We know how important it is to stay connected while your pup is boarding with us! That’s why we provide regular updates and are happy to answer messages during our communication hours:
- Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Sunday: No updates are sent. We will only contact you in case of an emergency.
